Workshop Description: The primary source materials of Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman are a treasure trove of ideas for an Orff teacher to use as a springboard for creation and exploration. During levels training, teachers are often exposed to examples of how one might implement these works. However, in the day-to-day planning and implementation of lessons, it can be overwhelming to know where to start in breaking down these pieces into processes and lesson ideas that can easily be taught, manipulated, and reconstructed in new ways. This workshop will explore various entry points for examining these resources and offer ideas and suggestions for ways to easily implement them into your current classroom curriculum. If you have the volumes, please bring them to the workshop to look at as we explore.
