Graduate Credit

Dear NE/AOSA Members, we have exciting news for you!!!

We are now able to offer graduate credit as part of our workshop series. Please see the requirements below.

*You will need to make an account with Ashland University to register

One Credit Option Requirements

  • Cost​ - $185
  • Attendance totaling 12.5 hours (3 full day workshops) of workshops.  
  • Lesson Plans Write and submit two lessons plans based on the activities from the workshops you attend.
  • Reflections (one reflection per workshop attended AND one reflection of your lessons taught)  Write a one page reflection for each workshop you attend. As part of your reflection, include how the workshop exemplified the Orff-Schulwerk approach and your personal take away from each workshop. Finally, write and submit a reflection on how the application of both lessons went. Be sure to describe how your teaching has grown (including positive ways or challenges you faced) when implementing your new lessons.​
  • Evaluation: Completion of the evaluation Google form that will be emailed to you after each workshop you attend.

  • Attendance totalling 25 hours (6 full day workshops) of workshops.  
  • Lesson Plans Write and submit four lessons plans based on the activities from the workshops you attend.
  • Reflections (one reflection per workshop attended AND one reflection of your lessons taught)  Write a one page reflection for each workshop you attend. As part of your reflection, include how the workshop exemplified the Orff-Schulwerk approach and your personal take away from each workshop. Finally, write and submit a reflection on how the application of all four lessons went. Be sure to describe how your teaching has grown (including positive ways or challenges you faced) when implementing your new lessons.​

Two Credit Registration

All assignments associated with this course are due to the adjunct professor of this course: Gina Depaoli. 

Please note that this cost is in addition to membership costs associated with NE/AOSA membership.
